Ahhh, Doctor Who: the best TV show in the world (probably the universe),
and the longest running sci-fi show on air. The image of Doctor, Tardis, and Dalek are British icons and the word Dalek has
earned a place in the Oxford English Dictionary. Now that's quite something.
Doctor Who started in 1963 and has been going strong for nearly 45 years.
It ended in 1989, with a movie in 1996 as an attempt to revive the series, but nothing happened until 2005, when Christopher
Eccleston came over to save the day! (Sort of.)
